We Were Promised Jetpacks

Let me get this out the way early. I bloody love We Were Promised Jetpacks.

I first saw them supporting Frightened Rabbit in The Arches. No idea when, but a lot of years ago.

I’ve been lucky enough to see them countless times since then, to get to know them, to work with them a bunch of times.

They came in to the studio for new promo photographs to accompany tours and the release of their new album Enjoy The View. There was no brief as such, beyond having a bit of fun and trying to capture some of their wonderfully irreverent and fun personalities.

There was a surprising amount of chat about the relative size of boxer shorts among band members.
