Thirty Portraits

One September, feeling that I was in a bit of a creative rut, I set out to photograph, edit and post a portrait every day for the month. The idea was simple, get out of my own head, get to work, and make something. Wether it was good, great or indifferent, it was a way to push through the block I was feeling. I hoped.

It generated some photographs I’m really proud of. Some that I’d do differently with more time. But here they are, warts and all. 30 days of work photographing musicians, chefs, physicists, footballers, writers, reality TV stars, humanists, photographers, filmmakers, friends. And a wife and a mum.

Thank you to all of them for their time and willing participation.
